Telfair 2008

  Had a great time in Savannah @ the Telfair art fair.  Thank you to everyone who came out to support the arts.  It was wonderful seeing some of my old customers from my days in Savannah and meeting some amazing artists.

Telfair Art Fair...Be there

This juried show and sale will be held in

Savannah’s historic district the weekend of November 7-9, 2008.

The Art Fair will take place in a lighted tent around Telfair Square,

in front of the Telfair Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Jepson

Center for the Arts. $10,000 in prizes will be awarded.

Judge

Stephen C. Wicks currently serves as the Barbara W. and Bernard E.

Bernstein Curator at the Knoxville Museum of Art and is active as a guest

curator, juror, lecturer, and writer. During his 17-year curatorial career,

Wicks also served as curator at the Columbus Museum – the second

largest museum in the state of Georgia – for almost four years, and as

curator of collections and exhibitions at the Knoxville Museum of Art

from 1990-2003. He has organized dozens of exhibitions devoted to

contemporary art, including New Directions in American Drawing, on view at

the Telfair during the summer of 2007. Wicks holds a B.A. in art history

from the University of Tennessee and a M.A. in art history and museum

studies from Case Western Reserve University, and is a back-to-back

recipient of Cleveland Museum of Art Fellowships.

 

Maps & Directions

Directions: From I-95: Exit at I-16 East into the Historic District. I-16 will turn into Montgomery Street. Turn Right on to Oglethorpe Avenue from Montgomery Street. From there see directions by clicking on the map below.

 
Parking: In addition to utilizing available street parking in the vicinity, visitors to the Telfair Academy and the Jepson Center for the Arts may park in the Robinson Garage, located directly behind the Telfair Academy on Jefferson Street.

Directons to Robinson Garage: From Oglethorpe Ave., turn left onto Barnard St. Follow Barnard to Telfair Square, proceeding 1/2 of the way around the square to State St. Continue on State to Jefferson St. and turn left. The entrance to the garage is on the right.

Cancer Schmancer event

On Saturday june 28th 8am-2pm I will be selling my jewelry for wholesale or below at a cancer schmancer event at Torque athletic club in Bluffton, SC.  I will also be donating a piece for the raffel. Im clearing out great pieces that I have had for a while as well as new earrings at wholesale.  Anyone can come-might be a great time to check out my favorite gym ever!!
